ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrive Johannesburg to Pretoria
On arrival you will be met by an English speaking representative who will escort you over to the car rental depot. Remember, we can organise all your flight requirements. Johannesburg is the energetic heartbeat of the country. So, before you set off to Pretoria, take in some of the sights.
Day 2 Pretoria to Mpumalanga
Today explore the Panorama route, maybe stopping in Graskop to indulge in one of Harry’s famous pancakes?
Day 3 Mpumalanga
Kruger National Park is the flagship of South Africa’s National Parks. So why not grab your binoculars and camera and explore this amazing place in an open vehicle game drive? You’re sure to see an impressive number of species!
Day 4 Mpumalanga
A fantastic opportunity today to exchange an Elephant trunk greeting at The Elephant Whispers Safari. Or, if you have a head for heights, swoop over the deep mysterious gorges on the optional ‘Cascades and Canyons’ helicopter ride.
Day 5 Mpumalanga to Swaziland
Whilst you’re at Jeppes Reef Border Post why not stop off at Matsamo Cultural Village and experience authentic Swazi culture. Visitors are treated to an age-old folk song and the traditional ‘Rain Dance’.
Day 6 Swaziland to Hluhluwe
Discover how the handcrafted candles are made with hundreds of intricate designs at the Swazi candle factory then onwards to Hluhluwe.
Day 7 Hluhluwe
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi is the oldest game reserve in Africa, rich in conservational history. You also have the additional opportunity to get up close and personal with the Hippo’s and Crocs on an incredible boat trip on St Lucia Lake.
Day 8 Hluhluwe to Durban
The Botanical Gardens are considered to be South Africa’s most beautiful. They even have regular live concerts held in the park. There is also a chance to visit the colouful Indian Market with over 170 stalls!
Day 9 Durban
Oh my, Fittzsimons Snake Park is home to hundreds of both indigenous and exotic snakes! You may also have time to take in the Natural Science Museum. Don’t miss the display of The Mummy of Peten-Amen, who lived 2,300 years ago!
Day 10 Return to London Heathrow
After breakfast make your way to the airport on your last day to return your hire car.
